Dr. Hanna Geyer

Dr. Geyer received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1998.

She received her chiropractic education at Options for Animals, taking classes from Dr. Sharon Willoughby, the pioneer and founder of modern day animal chiropractic practice. Dr. Hanna was certified by the AVCA (American Veterinary Chiropractic Asociation) in 1999. Additional traing followed at the Healing Oasis, an educational institution located in Sturtevant, Wisconsin dedicated to the advancement of Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy, Veterinary Massage and Rehabiliation Therapy, and Advanced Neuroloy - VSMT.

Dr. Geyer earned her certification in veterinary acupunture, Chinese herbs, food therapy, and Tui-Na (a Chinese version of massage and chirporactic care) through the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine and the China National Society of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine between 2000 and 2008. Dr. Huishen Xie (Shen), the founder of the Chi Institue, is a 4th generation veterinarian from China and emphasizes a TCVM (Traditional Veterinary Medicine) approach to healing an animal. The goal is to resolve underlying excesses or deficiencies rather than treating symptoms only.

She uses different acupuncture treatments including dry needling, electro-acupunture, aqua-acupuncture, and pneumo-acupuncture.

Dr Hanna Geyer is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association.
