Equine Dentistry
Regular checkups and floating can often prevent more serious problems. Dr. Hanna Geyer will do a thorough examination of your horse's oral cavity using a full mouth speculum and light sedation. While horses may develop issues at any age, brief examinations are especially important when the permanent premolars and molars come in around 5 years of age and slight corrections can prevent future malocclusions.
Dr. Hanna Geyer uses both power tools and hand floats and ends each session by chiropractically adjusting the jaw. She will discuss her findings with you and recommend a dental care plan for your horse.
